Playing in the Snow

Brady loved playing in the snow this past weekend. He was chasing my parents dog Sadie and he had a few falls. He liked feeling the snow but when he got cold he was ready to go in. Hopefully this will be our last snow and it will start warming up so we can get out and play in the sun.

Brady's Birthday

I can't believe that Brady will be a year old in just a few weeks. We are planning his 1st birthday party at the Dugout, doing a baseball theme. We hope that lots of our family and friends will be able to come and play games and celebrate with us. We had a photo shoot to get a good picture for Brady's invitations. I caught him posing with his phone on his ear, which is his new thing. Everything goes to his ear and he pretends he is talking on the phone. He is so funny!

Gran's Birthday

We celebrated my mom's birthday this weekend on Sunday and Monday. We went to Louisville on Sunday and ate at Olive Garden and then went bowling at King Pin Lane. We had a great day and Brady was soooo good. He loved the arcade room at the bowling alley (I think Jason and the boys enjoyed it too). On Monday night Kelly and I made dinner for mom at our house and did cake and presents. Mom had a great birthday!

Valentine's Day

Jason and I had a nice Valentine's dinner at Stone Hearth, while Brady went to Grandpa Newton's in Bardstown with his Gran and Grandpa. Brady got a few new things to V-day. We got him a Cookie Monster that talks and Gran and Grandpa got him a new onsie from the GAP and two books. He enjoyed them all and he had a good visit with the Newton's in Bardstown.

Congrats Gran!!

We are so proud of my mom. She was nominated for the ExCel teacher award and we learned tonight that she won. Mom is this years winner of the WHAS ExCel award. It is a huge honor and she is much deserving. We love you Gran!!

Super Bowl Party

We went to a Super Bowl party at Stevie and Jamie's house on Sunday. My parents and brothers were there and we had a good time especially since we didn't have to get up for school today. But hopefully we'll be back in school by Wednesday. The snow was fun, but we don't want to be in school all summer. Hopefully the snow we are supposed to get tomorrow won't keep us home again. We'll keep our fingers crossed!!

House guests!

The bad weather and power outages brought us a few house guests. Jason's family (Bev, Donald, Jessi, Aunt Kellie, cousin Ryan and Uncle Mike) stayed with us from Tuesday until Sunday morning because they had no heat or electric from the ice storm. My family came over each day and took showers and we all made the best of the situation. We enjoyed lots of good meals, movies and time together. We have been out of school for a week now and we're looking forward to going back (probably on Wednesday).

Our little walker!

Brady is officially a walker. He started last week on Tuesday and has gotten better every day. He goes all over the house with no problems and is into more then ever. He keeps his balance pretty well and doesn't have too many falls.
