Welcome Jackson Charles Thomas

Jason's cousin Clarissa, her husband Daniel and their little girl Ella welcomed baby Jackson last Monday. He was 6 weeks early, but he's doing really well. We weighed 5 lbs. and 11 oz. and was really healthy, just a little trouble breathing. But now he is no longer on oxygen and can come home in about 3 weeks. I took Bev and Jessi up to see him today and Bev and I were even able to go back and hold him. He is so tiny, and absolutely adorable. Congrats and best wishes!

Happy Birthday Gigi

Last Saturday we went to Louisville to celebrate mom's birthday. We went shopping, bowling and to Olive Garden. Then on her actual birthday we did dinner at our house and Brady's favorite part, cake and singing happy birthday. He is so funny because no matter who's birthday it is he thinks we are singing to him and he wants to always blow out the candles. He's just a little spoiled.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Brady surprised me at school last Friday with a red rose and a balloon. Mom and dad had him and it was such a nice surprise to see him. Jason got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, my favorite perfume, a card and dinner and a movie on Sunday. It was nice to go out and enjoy some time together.

Hanging out watching football

We are always hanging out at my parents house and Brady loves having people to play with him. Josh and Emily came over and Brady played with Kinlee and we got to see new baby Kase. He is such a doll and Brady was actually really good with him. I'm anxious to see if he'll be that good with his little sister. We'll see.

Snowed In

Jason and Brady enjoyed our snow last week. Brady wanted to put on all of Jason's hunting clothes to go out and play. He was too funny. Then when we finally bundled him up and got out there we only stayed out for about 30 minutes. It took longer to get him ready. He said, "Mommy, I love the snow but I cold." So him and I didn't stay out too long. But Jason and my brothers, sister, dad and some of our friends stayed out all day tubing. I was kinda glad I have the excuse of being pregnant because I hate being cold. Anyway, we had a great time at my parents house "snowed-in."

Birthdays

I made a birthday dinner for Bev a few weeks ago for her birthday. Then this past week I made birthday dinner for Mammaw. Brady loves all these birthday celebrations because he likes to sing, blow out the candles and of course he loves cake.

Brad Paisley Concert

Last week Jason, Kelly, Justin and I went to Lexington to the Brad Paisley concert. Justin Moore and Miranda Lambert opened up for him and the concert was amazing. We had the best seats that I have ever had for any concert. We were in the second row on the floor. At one point Brad Paisley walked out into the audience and he was right in front of us. It was a great night out and we can't wait to go back and see him.
