Water park

Last Saturday Bev and I took Jessi, Kate and Brady to the Ft.Knox water park and they had a blast. They had really neat things for little ones and Brady crawled on his belly and rolled around in the kiddie pool. It was so hot, so it was a great day to go.

Pool Time

Jason, Brady and I enjoyed some pool time last Sunday morning. Brady has started jumping off the diving board with his float on and he is swimming all over the pool.

Brady is using the potty!

We have started trying to get Brady to use the potty and he has peed a few times on his potty and on the big potty. He does okay, but I'm not sure if he's really ready, we'll see.

Where are you Brady?

Brady's new thing is to hide from us and he'll yell, "where are you Brady?" The other night it was time for a bath and he went to hide. We didn't hear him, which is never a good thing, and when Jason found him he was hiding in the closet with his toothbrush and our toothpaste. He laughed hysterically when we found him and got toothpaste all over Jason's clothes. He is a mess and at such a fun age. We enjoy him so much.

Brady Jumping off the Boat!

Brady kept asking to "jump" into the water to me. Most of the time he went completely under and he loved it. My little dare devil! He takes after his dad.

Weekend at Kentucky Lake

We decided that since this was our last weekend before school started and everyone had their birthdays we would go to the lake. We stayed at Kentucky Lake Thursday night until Sunday with some of our family. My aunts and uncles came and surprised my dad and we rented boats, tubed and had a blast. Brady loved the water and he would jump off the boat and go all the way under. He wanted to swim around with his life jacket by himself. He is not afraid of anything.

Happy Birthday "Pa pa"

My dad's birthday was Sunday and when we sang Brady didn't know who's name to say. I think he is confused why we have been doing so many birthdays, but he doesn't complain about the cake. He loves blowing out the candles and eating the cake.

Happy Birthday Uncle "Jo Jo"

We celebrated "JoJo's" birthday on Wednesday and he took Brady on a "mawnmower" ride. Brady's learning to sing happy birthday pretty good with all of the birthdays we've had lately. He just grins when everyone sings, like they are singing to him.

Happy Birthday Jason!

For Jason's birthday we went to Bass Pro Shop during the day for him to get a few things and spend some birthday money. Brady likes it there as much as Jason. He thinks that the animals are real and he was so excited. Then we went out to eat at Red Lobster that night and Brady got to touch a lobster. He got a little scared when it started moving, but he's pretty much not afraid to do anything.

Hot Rods Game

We went to a Hotrods baseball game in Bowling Green last week and afterward they had fireworks. We didn't know how Brady would do because he had never seen fireworks up that close but he loved them. After we left he kept saying "fireworks, pow, pow."

Brady goes crazy when he sees the fish. One of the really large fish swam up in front of him and he said "oh gosh." He is at such a cute age, we never know what he is going to say.

The Louisville Zoo

Jason and I took Jessi and Brady to the zoo last week and we had a great time. It was a beautiful day and we got there early so all of the animals were out and moving around. Brady's favorite animals were the monkeys and of course the fish. As it got hotter we took them to to water park and they liked that also.

Playing with Sam

We have had many play dates with Sam and Molly this summer. Brady talks about them all the time and surprisingly they play really well together. Unfortunately we will be going back to school and we won't be able to hang out as much. Oh well, we've enjoyed the summer and we will still hang out on the weekends.
