Slip & Slide

Brady absolutely loves playing in water. Mom and dad's pool is open, but it's still really cold so Brady was playing on a piece of pool cover after we cleaned it. He was sliding around and had so much fun. He ended up being completely naked. We can't wait for summer. Last week of school!! Yah!

Happy 85th Birthday Great-Grandpa Yuda

We celebrated my Grandpa Yuda's birthday Sunday with my mom's family. We had a great meal and Brady of course loved the birthday cake.

Abell Cookout

We went to Jason's Uncle Mike and Aunt Kelley's for a cookout Saturday night. We had a great visit with his family and we got to meet baby Jackson, Jason's cousin Bobbi's little boy. Brady got really jealous of the baby when Jason was holding him. I got some good shots of Jason, Mike and the boys.

Happy 3rd Anniversary

Jason and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on Wednesday. Jason got me some beautiful lilies in a cute vase and he is taking me out to eat in Louisville tomorrow night. Brady (aka: Aunt Kelly) got me a dozen red roses and a really cute card and mom and dad took us out to eat and gave me three roses for three years. We had a nice night and Jason and I are looking forward to a night out together tomorrow night.

That is sour!

We ate at the Mexican restaurant the other night and Brady decided that he wanted to eat a lime. He kept putting it in his mouth even though it was soooo sour. He was even saying "sour." His little face was too cute and very funny.

Mother's Day

We had a good Mother's Day. We went to church together with my parents and siblings and then we went to my grandparents house and Aunt Donna and Uncle Ricky made an awesome dinner. After dinner we went to Mammaw Abell's house and saw her and Nana. It was a busy day, but we had fun.

Brady got me a really cute card and some flowers for outside. He also picked me some daisies in Grandma's field with Uncle Adam and Grandpa. Jason cooked Mom, Kelly (she is Brady's second mom) and I a great steak dinner on Saturday night for Mother's Day. The best present I got on Mother's Day was the first thing that happened when I got up. When I looked at Brady I told him I loved him and he gave me a great big kiss (which usually doesn't happen if you don't ask for one). What a cutie! I love being a mom!

Playing in the Mud!

Well, Brady found his first mud puddle this weekend at Gran's house. He was outside Saturday morning with Grandpa and when mom and I went outside we couldn't believe that dad had let him get in the mud in his new pajamas. At first he was just putting his hands in it, then he sat down and before we knew it he was soaking wet. Then he went down by the pool and got on the pool cover and thought it was a slip and slide. He was rolling around and even stuck his face in the water. He is going to love the pool this summer, but he is not one bit afraid, so we'll have to watch him super close.

Day at the Oaks

We had a great day at the Oaks on Friday. Jason and I went with my parents, Kelly, Joseph, Adam and Sophie. We had awesome weather and even though we didn't win any money we enjoyed hanging out together. We saw Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson as soon as we walked in the gate. And later Robbie hung out with us and we were right next to Rick Riley (from ESPN). I got a good picture of Rachel Alexandra right before she won the Kentucky Oaks. It was a great day. Can't wait till next year.
